Head Teacher and Founder

Bharú (Juan Martin Torchiaro) is an International Teacher of Qigong, Medical Qigong, Kung Fu and Meditation, and founder of Aknanda Qigong Academy.

He started studying eastern arts since he was 10 years old and continued to study in China, Indonesia, Thailand, Argentina and Germany.

 

 With an international career, Bharu has shared his experience in Spain. Argentina, Costa Rica, Italy, Thailand and Vietnam.

Bharu’s trainings include a wide range of disciplines, from traditional martial arts such as Wing Chun Kung Fu, Se chi she kong Kung Fu and Shaolin Kung Fu . Taichi, Medical Qigong and Taoist and Buddhist Qigong. In Addition, Bharu has a solid training in Traditional Chinese Medicine, including Acupuncture and  Zen Shiatsu.

Currently, he acts as a teacher, therapist and speaker summoned by students of the Academy and also by organizations. Its work is carried out online, and direct transmission, mainly in his base home Nosara, Costa Rica.

 

Nowadays, he practices and teaches his own work methodology Aknanda Method to help others develop new personal skills and start a journey to a better quality of life.
