The Relevance of following a UNIQUE method

In general terms, Aknanda Qigong is constituted and formed by a body of knowledge, based on exercises, philosophy and traditional practices of Buddhist and Taoist origin. More specifically, we refer to the legacy of Shaolin (Qigong / Neigong / Kung Fu), Wudang (Qigong / Neigong / Taichi) and also the Yang system of Taiji Quan.

Education – “Through the journey”

The training is divided into 3 levels.

The trainee will gradually acquire both the techniques and knowledge of each phase.

STEP BY STEP: all levels are interconnected, the trainee will experience each step in a particular way, focusing on acknowledging that step only, to continue learning more skills every time.

It comes a time when all these phases are only one, a single matrix that flows and grows “through the journey”.

PHYSICAL- ENERGY- MIND

LEVEL 1 – PHYSICAL

The dimension of our essence (Jing) is responsible to set our structure.
Getting physically prepared requires coordination, postures, movements and equilibrium, which are all necessary to become mechanically healthy, to promote the flow of energy, to become more vital and to raise our level of awareness.

LEVEL 2 – ENERGY “Qi”

Once the previous step has been undergone: setting up, alignment, central training, the objective will be to join our movements with breathing techniques, consolidating our integrated, stable and relaxed positions.

To work connected (feet, legs, center, arms, palms) opens our path to grow and control our Qi (vital energy).

During this phase, we further work on opening the meridians (canals of energy) flowing into a deeper field of the training and self-meditation.

LEVEL 3 – MIND/SPIRIT

This third level consolidates levels 1 and 2 fostering the “mind´s emptiness”, getting to the deepest part of the training. “Shen” symbolizes the spirit/mind/intention (Yi). The energy is guided by the mind. A “water mind” is a bright, calm, cool, flexible and strong spirit that has the power to create, transform and heal.
